Introduction

One of my responsibilities as a data analyst within the risk management function of a large healthcare enterprise was to create and maintain an international travel risk dashboard in Tableau. Each week, the dashboard presented updated global business travel plans for hundreds of employees for the coming year. In addition, I blended U.S. State Department Travel Advisory data with the employee trip data to help employees, their managers, the security department, and the travel department understand and mitigate travel risks.
